We purchased 2 a couple of years ago. Recently someone tried to break in to our container. Looks like with a crowbar. The legs bent about 1/8 inch, but the latch and lock held. We purchased two more recently for the other door and lock to be fully secure.

We have used these hoods for years in conjunction with a 7/16" hasp padlock. They are easy to remove and reinstall on the container handles when unlocked and lock easy when installed. Burglars had attempted one time to gain entry into one of our containers, smashing the hood with a sledge hammer to no avail. Great hood for the money...
